  1. What is something meaningful to you about what you do here at The Rothfeld Center?

I truly am humbled to hear each patient’s story and to be given the opportunity to dig deeper and investigate the underlying causes.

2. What is your favorite recipe(s)?

I recently have discovered a new love for my slow cooker. My recent favorite recipe is Chicken Cacciatore. Throw 2 medium boneless chicken breasts, 1 jar of tomato sauce, 2 green peppers, 1 small onion, oregano and garlic. Cook on low for 7-10 hours and you come home to a house that smells amazing! Throw it together with some gluten free pasta, and you’ve got an easy, healthy meal with real, whole food.

3. What do you like to do to relax?

Walking is a passion for me. It helps relax me and helps keep me healthy. It also helps me feel connected to the environment around me. Where I walk varies depending on what I need for the day. Walking in the woods or by the ocean can be calming and restorative for me. Walking in the city can be fun and energizing. I love walking miles with my husband in the city, while we talk about our plans for the future.

4. How do you stay healthy all year long?

Eating healthy, walking, taking time to connect with nature and my loved ones…

5. Is there a person/movie/book/etc. that inspires you?

I am inspired by the amazing courage and strength I see in the people that I come across daily in my life.
